After the opening of their downtown Bleecker Street location, this move uptown feels like a natural evolution\u2014bridging easygoing California elegance with a sense of East Coast prim and polish.<\/p>\n Designed with longtime collaborators Nickey Kehoe Interior Design, the new boutique is equal parts down-to-earth\u2014think rustic wood floors, dressing rooms lined in delicate floral carpeting, and a palette of pale blue and emerald green\u2014and quietly luxurious, with velvet ottomans, cabinets filled with antique curiosities, and accents of fringe and crystal pendant lighting. But the luminous backdrop wasn\u2019t the only thing worth noting. Racks lined with signature D\u00f4en staples were the real showstoppers\u2014and the true reason for my visit\u2014from elegant dresses<\/a> in sumptuous satin and crisp poplin to silky, lace-trimmed separates and transitional<\/a> outerwear in suede<\/a> and structured canvas. The new flagship is also home to the brand\u2019s 10th anniversary capsule collection. And the best part? Each piece lends itself to multiple styling moments\u2014worn together for a head-to-toe D\u00f4en look or mixed into a more pared-back wardrobe, as seen below.<\/p>\n Keep scrolling to discover the D\u00f4en signatures I tried on\u2014and ultimately took home. Here, I paired mine with a matching sleeveless sweater and a classic black kitten-heel pump<\/a> (never overlook D\u00f4en\u2019s shoe selection, which often comes in under-$300<\/a>).
