You can count on the red carpet for the 2026 Met Gala<\/a> being filled with A-list stars. Still, many of us have the same question on our minds: Will Zendaya be attending? And, if so, what will Zendaya\u2019s 2026 Met Gala outfit be?<\/p>\n

The star has a history of delivering memorable fashion moments<\/a> at the Met, all masterminded by her stylist, Law Roach. From her Joan of Arc-inspired Versace<\/a> in 2018 to her Louis Vuitton zoot suit<\/a> last year, Zendaya always understands the assignment. So, what might she make of 2026\u2019s \u201cFashion is art<\/a>\u201d dress code?<\/p>\n

The options are endless\u2014but we have some ideas. (Hint: archival Mugler and custom Margiela are both on the table.) Below, Vogue<\/em>\u2019s predictions for Zendaya\u2019s Met Gala 2026 outfit.<\/p>\n

Body-ody-ody!<\/h2>\n

If Zendaya does one thing at the Met, it\u2019s honor the theme. And, given the focus on the body in \u201cCostume Art,\u201d the Costume Institute\u2019s spring exhibition, we could see her reaching for a look that abstracts her form\u2014a sculptural Comme des Gar\u00e7ons dress, say, or maybe a molded Jean Paul Gaultier catsuit.<\/p>\n

Throwback Monday<\/h2>\n

Zendaya and Law Roach love<\/em> reviving an archival runway look\u2014and where better to do that than at the Met? (In 2024, after all, she wore not one but two<\/em> vintage Galliano looks<\/a>.) Mugler\u2019s figure-hugging designs from the \u201990s would be a no-brainer. \u201cI would also love to see Zendaya in the [2011] skeleton dress by Iris van Herpen,\u201d says Vogue<\/em> research director Kristin Auble. \u201cShe is one of the few people that could pull off such an exceptional form.\u201d<\/p>\n
