Part sneaker, part ballerina, spring\u2019s It shoe<\/a> combines a casual athletic silhouette with the dainty appeal of a classic flat. It\u2019s easy to see why the hybrid has caught on: sneakerinas offer polish and comfort, without taking themselves too seriously. They\u2019re durable, less precious, and often a lot easier to wear than ballet flats, but sleeker than, say, a bulky dad shoe.<\/p>\n

Fashion has embraced the look on the runways, most notably at Dries Van Noten and Prada, where for spring 2026 colorful satin and embellished versions nudged the silhouette further into the spotlight. Athletic brands have leaned in, too, with Adidas\u2019s popular Taekwondo and Puma\u2019s Speedcat Ballet Venus selling out repeatedly.<\/p>\n
