Dolce & Gabbana has appointed Stefano Cantino as co-CEO, alongside Alfonso Dolce.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am pleased to have Stefano Cantino by my side in this new phase of growth and development of Dolce & Gabbana,\u201d Alfonso Dolce, Dolce & Gabbana CEO and brother of co-founder Domenico Dolce, said in a statement on Monday. His appointment is effective this Monday.<\/p>\n

This comes after Fedele Usai, who had been Dolce & Gabbana\u2019s managing director since 2023, was appointed Kering\u2019s chief marketing officer in early March.<\/p>\n

Cantino was CEO of Gucci from January 2025<\/a> until September 2025, when Francesca Bellettini was appointed president and CEO of the house<\/a>. He joined Gucci in May 2024 as deputy CEO following a five-year career at Louis Vuitton, where he oversaw communications and image. Prior to that, he spent 20 years at Prada Group, where his last role was director of communications and marketing.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis arrival follows Dolce & Gabbana\u2019s growth trajectory, driven by the evolution of its organizational model from a fashion brand to a lifestyle company,\u201d the company stated.<\/p>\n

Dolce & Gabbana, co-founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana and still privately owned, generated around \u20ac2 billion in revenue for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.<\/p>\n

On Friday, the company said<\/a> Stefano Gabbana has stepped down from his management positions in the Dolce & Gabbana group, but \u201cthese resignations have no impact whatsoever on the creative activities carried out by Stefano Gabbana on behalf of the group.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to a Bloomberg<\/em> report published in March 2026, the company is in talks with its lenders about its debt, as it was also affected by the slowdown in the luxury market. \u201cWith regard to the debt position, the group has no statement to make at this time, as negotiations with the banks are still ongoing,\u201d the company said Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an honor for me to join Dolce & Gabbana, a brand that represents Italian excellence around the world in such an extraordinary way,\u201d Cantino said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
