Leave it to Spinelli Kilcollin to keep a crowd out past curfew on a school night\u2014and just days after Coachella weekend one, no less. On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles-based jewelry brand went all out, hosting its first-ever large-scale bash to mark its 15th anniversary.<\/p>\n
Held at an industrial-style space\u2014a former art gallery that will soon become the brand\u2019s new West coast flagship\u2014and in its sprawling parking lot, the silver-themed setting was packed to the brim with partygoers eager to keep the momentum going post-festival.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve had some nice parties in our New York store, but it\u2019s much smaller\u2014and now we have this 5,000-square-foot space,\u201d co-founder Yves Spinelli told Vogue<\/em>. Much to the delight of its Angeleno fans, the new digs will also feature a listening room, design studio, and photo studio. \u201cWe were thinking of ways to bring our story to the new store,\u201d Spinelli shared. Dwyer Kilcollin, the other half of the duo, chimed in. \u201cPeople always want to come over and listen to music,\u201d they said, noting the professional concert hall-like acoustics in their own garage.<\/p>\n Upon arrival, guests were met with a Waymo\u2014a partner of the evening\u2014parked beneath an oversized disco ball. Just beside it, a claw machine filled with Spinelli Kilcollin\u2019s coveted rings and fragrances became an instant hit. Word quickly spread that one lucky person had indeed scored some jewelry earlier on in the night, prompting many to try their luck at the notoriously tricky game.<\/p>\n In the main area, a silver bouncy house drew attention\u2014though only a few mustered the courage to slide in after a cocktail or two. The Sapphire Spritz\u2014nodding to both diamonds and the night\u2019s other sponsor Chase Sapphire Reserve\u2014proved popular, along with Suntory\u2019s signature drinks. Nearby, a photo-booth was mobbed, with a steady line forming for hours. Guests even tapped into their creative side by doodling on a blank wall, and for those who arrived hungry, a food truck outside was stocked with burgers, chili fries, margarita pizza, and meatballs by Etra.<\/p>\n Justine Skye, fresh off her whirlwind Coachella weekend, was still in top form. \u201cI\u2019m feeling exhausted, but I\u2019m here now with all my friends, so I\u2019m rejuvenated and I feel good,\u201d the Collide<\/em> singer shared. Still buzzing from Justin Bieber\u2019s viral set, Skye admitted she \u201ccried hysterically\u201d during the performance. \u201cIt was embarrassing, but you know, that\u2019s my brother.\u201d Naturally, she wasn\u2019t about to miss celebrating with her close friends, DJs Simi and Haze, either. \u201cThe one thing about our friend group is that we love to dance. I\u2019m trying to get everyone inside because I\u2019m like, \u2018let\u2019s f\u2014g dance.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Clad in an all-black look, Blackpink\u2019s Jennie paused to hug Spinelli on the way to the dance floor. Kaia Gerber, meanwhile, kept a low profile in oversized black sunglasses. Rounding out the guest list were Fai Khadra, Giveon, Amin\u00e9, Luna Blaise, and Central Cee. Symone, the winner of season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race<\/em>, was among those who were decked out in Spinelli Kilcollin\u2019s cult-favorite stacked rings. \u201cYesterday, we came in around 11 a.m., and they brought out a tray and told us, \u2018Try on anything you like\u2014you can have as many as you want!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The party hit a fever pitch once Kaytranada stepped behind the booth, with Lizzo among those who were most hyped about the performance. \u201cKaytranada is family for life,\u201d the About Damn Time<\/em> hitmaker, who strolled into the party just before 1 a.m, gushed.
