Congratulations are in order for Natalie Portman<\/a>! On Friday, the actor announced that she is expecting her third child\u2014her first with her partner, the French music producer Tanguy Destable.<\/p>\n Revealing the joyful news to Harper\u2019s Bazaar<\/a>,<\/em> Portman, who is 44, said: \u201cTanguy and I are very excited.\u201d She added, \u201cI\u2019m just very grateful. I know it\u2019s such a privilege and a miracle.\u201d In the interview, she also discussed the complexities of fertility. Portman\u2019s father is a fertility doctor, so she has long had a unique perspective on the subject, and an empathy shaped by that experience.<\/p>\n \u201cI grew up hearing about how hard it is to get pregnant,\u201d she told Bazaar<\/em>. \u201cI have so many people I love who\u2019ve had such a hard time with it that I want to be respectful around that as well. It\u2019s such a beautiful, joyous thing, and it\u2019s also not an easy thing.\u201d<\/p>\n Portman most recently appeared alongside John Krasinski<\/a> in the heist comedy Fountain of Youth<\/em> and in the upcoming art world dark comedy The Gallerist<\/em><\/a> (directed by Cathy Han and featuring a starry cast including Jenna Ortega,<\/a> Charli XCX,<\/a> Catherine Zeta-Jones<\/a>, Da\u2019Vine Joy Randolph<\/a>, and more), which premiered at Sundance in January and is slated for release later this year.<\/p>\n Portman has reportedly been in a relationship with Destable since spring 2025, when they were first spotted together, though it\u2019s not clear how they met. She has two children from her previous marriage to choreographer Benjamin Millepied: a 14-year-old son named Aleph and a nine-year-old daughter, Amalia.<\/p>\n Elsewhere in the interview, she reflected on the experience of being pregnant at this stage in her life. \u201cThere is a gratitude that when you\u2019re young, you don\u2019t necessarily grasp,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd there\u2019s a calm and knowing myself: who I want to spend time with, what kind of energy I want around me that makes the experience so beautiful every day. And knowing it\u2019s probably the last time, I cherish every moment.\u201d<\/p>\n And as for how she\u2019s feeling?
