Nast Galleries\u2014will consider depictions of the dressed body from across the Met\u2019s curatorial departments, pairing garments with art objects spanning some 5,000 years.<\/p>\n Objects in \u201cCostume Art\u201d will be divided into a \u201cseries of thematic body types,\u201d ranging from the \u201cNaked Body\u201d and the \u201cClassical Body\u201d\u2014both of which are well represented within the museum\u2019s collection\u2014to those, like the \u201cPregnant Body\u201d and the \u201cAging Body,\u201d that have more often been overlooked.<\/p>\n Beyonc\u00e9, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour will co-chair the 2026 Met Gala<\/a>.<\/p>\n Continuing a tradition from years past, the 2026 Met Gala will also have a host committee.
