Much like the 311-page volume itself, which was curated by Elizabeth Semmelhack, the evening, hosted by In\u00e8s de la Fressange, was all about the brand\u2019s archives.<\/p>\n<p>The store\u2019s decor showcased the <em>maison\u2019s<\/em> past and present; Vivier\u2019s original sketches and <em>Vogue<\/em> magazines from 1965 sat alongside the latest collections, while the new tome lined the window displays and display cases. Its cover\u2014which features the brand\u2019s signature Belle Vivier silver buckle and color-blocked panels of yellow, red, and blue\u2014was impossible to miss.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, guests immediately gravitated towards the oversized version of the book near the window display. As they flipped through its pages, they were met with silver trays of Champagne and <em>la bise<\/em> from global brand ambassador de la Fressange\u2014who met the late <em>monsieur<\/em> Vivier back in the 1980s. \u201cRoger Vivier is real luxury that brings something to women,\u201d she explained as attendees sifted through the pages, \u201cit\u2019s not about how we\u2019ve helped the brand; it\u2019s about how the brand has helped us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><cm-unit\/><\/p>\n<p>Guests including Tina Leung, Violetta Komyshan, Ronny Kobo, Jacquelyn Jablonski, and Bambi Northwood-Blythe used the evening as an opportunity to learn more about the brand\u2014now under the stewardship of creative director Gherardo Felloni since 2018\u2014and its legacy. \u201cWho was the real Roger,\u201d Australian model Northwood-Blythe asked, hoping the pages might offer some answers. De la Fressange and her daughter Violette d\u2019Urso ensured the crowd had no shortage of them. \u201cI learned tonight that Roger Vivier was among the first to embellish shoes with floral details at a time when everyone else was keeping things plain,\u201d ballet dancer Komyshan shared.<\/p>\n<p><native-ad position=\"in-content\" shoulddisplaylabel=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Those famed embellishments were incorporated in many accessories dusted down for the occasion, as jeweled clutches, buckled heels, and sparkling pumps made their way into almost every look. \u201cI feel put together and adorable,\u201d Leung told <em>Vogue<\/em> while pointing at her pink and green rose headband. \u201cI built my entire outfit and glam around this headpiece.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><native-ad position=\"sponsor-product\" shoulddisplaylabel=\"true\"\/><\/p>\n<p>As bubbles continued to flow, the evening took on a vibrant, celebratory energy.
