Love is a many-splendored thing, especially when you\u2019re gawking at it from the outside. In this column<\/a>,<\/a> we examine the celebrity couples who give us hope for our own romantic futures as we try to learn what we can from their well-documented bonds.<\/em><\/p>\n I\u2019ll be honest: there\u2019s a tiny part of me that still mourns the relationship between Zo\u00eb Kravitz and Channing Tatum<\/a>. What can I say? I love it when the weird, beautiful art girl gets the handsome, playfully dumb hunk. It\u2019s giving Marcello Hern\u00e1ndez and Jane Wickline\u2019s \u201cCouple You Can\u2019t Believe Are Together\u201d<\/a> from Saturday Night Live<\/em>. That said, Tatum and Kravitz called it off in 2024, so it\u2019s time to get fully behind Kravitz\u2019s new fianc\u00e9, one Harry Styles.<\/a><\/p>\n To be clear, it\u2019s not hard to root for Kravitz and Styles: they\u2019re both insanely hot, their coordinated couple style<\/a> is unparalleled, and I happen to be the world\u2019s biggest booster of two of their respective projects that I feel didn\u2019t get the pop-cultural credit they deserved at the time. (Rough Night<\/em> and Don\u2019t Worry, Darling<\/em> are totally fine movies, okay?)<\/p>\n Somewhat paradoxically for someone as nosy as me, I also enjoy how dramatically little I know about Kravitz and Styles\u2019s relationship. They were first spotted kissing in London in August 2025, and no less an authority on the travails of love than Taylor Swift herself seems to have blessed their union. (Bear in mind, Swift and Styles were once a thing, but her friendship with Kravitz\u2014demonstrated in such extravagant gesutres as lending Kravitz and her mother, Lisa Bonet, one of her homes during the LA fires<\/a>\u2014appears to come first. Respect.)<\/p>\n Both Kravitz and Styles have had to deal with the drama that comes with conducting relationships in front of the all-seeing public eye for years, so maybe it\u2019s not all that surprising that they\u2019re keeping their eight-months-and-counting courtship fairly low-key. After all, whenever a celebrity starts metaphorically jumping the couch, Tom Cruise\u2013style (remember that?), about how the woman he\u2019s currently dating has irrevocably changed his life and made him a better man, I\u2019m a little wary. Maybe there\u2019s something to be said for the quiet-luxury approach to a celeb-for-celeb romance; after all, as Bonnie Raitt once sang, \u201cDon\u2019t advertise your man.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n It certainly seems like Styles has learned a lot about love since his brief relationship with Swift. In 2016, the singer and actor told Rolling Stone<\/em> after being papped with the songstress: \u201cRelationships are hard at any age. And adding in that you don\u2019t really understand exactly how it works when you\u2019re 18\u2014trying to navigate all that stuff\u2014didn\u2019t make it easier. I mean, you\u2019re a little bit awkward to begin with. You\u2019re on a date with someone you really like. It should be that simple, right? It was a learning experience for sure.\u201d I, for one, simply love the idea of a decade\u2019s worth of time and life experience leading Styles straight to Kravitz.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
