In fact some guests went the exact opposite route, taking a leaf out of Matthieu Blazy\u2019s sole-less, semi-barefoot shoes<\/a> from Chanel\u2019s Resort 2027 show in Biarritz and opted for a barely-there, toe cleavage-friendly sandal.<\/p>\n There may not have been time for anyone to get their hands on a pair of those conversation-starting half-soled Chanels to strap on for the Met Gala, but, still, there were plenty of Grecian goddess-esque sandals gracing the Met steps, leaning into this year\u2019s emphasis on the body. Elizabeth Denicki wore flat-soled, open-toed sandals, and Rihanna\u2019s<\/a> feet were strapped in via a single strap over her big toes.
