On Monday, Chase Sui Wonders attended her first-ever Met Gala<\/a> in a lilac McQueen gown inspired by ancient Roman murals she\u2019d encountered on a trip to Pompeii. As she tells Chloe and Chioma in today\u2019s episode of The Run-Through<\/a>,<\/em> her \u201cFashion Is Art\u201d look was layered with Tiffany jewels over the top and a bodysuit underneath to keep the entirely sheer skirt photo-appropriate. She arrived on the carpet at 5:30 p.m., navigated the infamous train-traffic-heavy walk through the Egyptian wing, and missed the burrata entirely\u2014having spent the better part of an hour making her way to her table.<\/p>\n The highlights of her night were countless. Emily Blunt freed her from a hedge after her dress got caught in it; a bathroom visit resulted in an encounter with Tessa Thompson, who was loudly ripping off her synthetic nails; on the dance floor during Stevie Nicks\u2019s surprise performance<\/a>, Wonders caught up with A$AP Rocky, who then accidentally stepped on her train; and a cut radish launched itself from her plate, into Janelle Mon\u00e1e\u2019s CD-ROM nipple-cover. \u201cWe laughed about it afterwards,\u201d Wonders says.<\/p>\n Chloe and Chioma also share their own reports from the night.
