Taylor Swift is a fan of heavy-set, eyebrow-skimming bangs. And over the years, her fringe style has defined eras all on its own\u2014maybe even more than her signature red lip or her feline flick of eyeliner.<\/p>\n

Stepping out in New York last night for dinner with friends at Zero Bond<\/a> (a firm T-Swift fave), Swift stepped out for dinner with thicker bangs that naturally flicked to the side, encasing her brows and melting into her tousled, chest-length honey blonde hair. The cut feels distinctly retro, and off-set her tailored, millennial-in-the-office leaning look: Swift wore a Stella McCartney peplum poplin white shirt cinched with a skinny black belt, flowing tailored trousers, a Fendi Peekaboo ISeeU bag, and The Row\u2019s Awar sandals.<\/p>\n

This fresh cut falls in line with Taylor Swift\u2019s very subtle recent style shift. In a slew of sightings in New York, the pop star has established a more minimalist and neutral wardrobe: CBK-coded silk top and skirt sets via quiet luxury fave The Row, LWDs and LBDs<\/a>. It\u2019s certainly a decided move away from the Life of a Showgirl<\/em><\/a> era\u2014is this a pre-wedding palate cleanse?<\/p>\n
