We are so back, Euphoria<\/em> viewers! I missed the last two episodes because I was on vacation, but\u2014with all due respect to Sam Levinson and his magnum opus\u2014it really wasn\u2019t that hard to orient myself for the back half of the third season.<\/p>\n

Unbelievably enough, we only have one more episode to go after this one, but for now, read on to find (quite literally) every thought I had while watching Season 3, Episode 7 of Euphoria<\/em>:<\/p>\n

  1. Hey, Ali\u2019s on vacation!<\/li>\n
  2. Just like I was!<\/li>\n
  3. \u2026Sort of.<\/li>\n
  4. Oh, wow, turns out I\u2019m not crazy and this sex worker actually is<\/em> being played by Natasha Lyonne<\/a>.<\/li>\n
  5. God, Colman Domingo is such a good actor.<\/li>\n
  6. Never forget how difficult the pandemic was for people in recovery!<\/a><\/li>\n
  7. Now I\u2019m getting misty about the immense amount of work that people put into peer-to-peer recovery programs, pretty much always out of the good of their own hearts.<\/li>\n
  8. Crying about the mere concept of twelve-step programs? It\u2019s giving luteal phase.<\/a><\/li>\n
  9. I don\u2019t really get why or how Lexi and Rue are still friends, but I\u2019m glad they are.<\/li>\n
  10. Lexi\u2019s gone so Hollywood with her \u201cThis doesn\u2019t track for me\u201d! Yes, future studio executive!<\/li>\n
  11. I like Rue\u2019s big-ass jean jacket.<\/li>\n
  12. In fairness to Lexi, my nightmare is<\/em> someone talking to me about God and evil while I\u2019m trying to write.<\/li>\n
  13. Sydney Sweeney really does slay a final-girl moment, it must be said.<\/li>\n
  14. The way she just screamed \u201cNOOOOOO\u201d was also art\u2026like, I could hear that \u201cNOOOOOO\u201d anywhere out of context and instantly know who screamed it.<\/li>\n
  15. How do I get my bob to look like Lexi\u2019s without applying heat or doing any work on it whatsoever?<\/li>\n
  16. Are we about to get another iconic Maddy\/Cassie beatdown?<\/li>\n
  17. \u201cI\u2019m not your manager. I\u2019m your fucking boss, bitch.\u201d<\/li>\n
  18. Damn!<\/li>\n
  19. I hate Dylan.<\/li>\n
  20. Making content with some tool in a beanbag chair is sort of where Cassie is meant to be.<\/li>\n
  21. Ah, yes, a sex scene with all the elegance and subtlety that Levinson is known for.<\/li>\n
  22. Not the finger in the water glass!<\/li>\n
  23. The bangles staying on during sex is so<\/em> Cassie-coded.<\/li>\n
  24. The way I don\u2019t care if Nate lives or dies\u2026<\/li>\n
  25. Also quite Cassie-coded of me.<\/li>\n
  26. He does look very tanned and jacked, though.<\/li>\n
  27. I love Rue-and-Ali-eating-together-and-talking-about-God scenes.<\/li>\n
  28. Rue\u2019s kind of like a prettier Moses.<\/a><\/li>\n
  29. \u201cWhy Texas?\u201d \u2014 Ali to Rue re. her homestead plans, also everyone in my life when I moved to Austin in 2021.<\/li>\n
  30. We need more scenes of the strippers hanging out en famille.<\/li>\n
  31. God help me, I love a Steely Dan needle drop thrown in for absolutely no good reason.<\/li>\n
  32. Dick-rating time chez Cassie!<\/li>\n
  33. Oh, shit<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  34. I guess I do care if Cassie<\/em> lives or dies?<\/li>\n
  35. Nate\u2019s buried-alive situation is giving Kill Bill 2,<\/em> and much like that movie, it\u2019s making me faintly nauseous with claustrophobia.<\/li>\n
  36. OMG, is Rue going to save Cassie?<\/li>\n
  37. Is it bad that I\u2019m fast-forwarding over these Nate scenes because they involve three things I don\u2019t care for (Nate, being buried alive, and snakes)?<\/li>\n
  38. God, Naz is terrifying.<\/li>\n
  39. I\u2019ll admit this shot that\u2019s set up to look like Rue\u2019s wearing a crown of thorns is kind of cool.<\/li>\n
  40. Ugh, I need Maddy to swim the fuck away from Alamo right now.<\/li>\n
  41. I am stressed out<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  42. Welp, bye, Naz.<\/li>\n
  43. Duolingo some Armenian, divas!<\/li>\n
  44. Girls up huge (I mean, if you consider unearthing Nate\u2019s snake-bitten corpse being \u201cup huge\u201d).<\/li>\n
  45. Are we rocking with Faye, or are we quite definitively not?<\/li>\n
  46. I miss Jules.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n
