Last night, television\u2019s best and brightest took over Wall Street for the 2026 Gotham TV Awards. The third annual celebration of small-screen performances is something of a precursor to the Emmys<\/a>, and, naturally, attendees dressed for the occasion.<\/p>\n Smaller red carpets like these allow celebrities more freedom with their fashion, both in terms of formality and risk-taking. Grace Gummer<\/a> seized the moment in an avant-garde Issey Miyake look from the spring 2026<\/a> collection\u2014a sheer black dress festooned with black fabric spikes that looked like she was wrapped in a string of seaweed. Her Love Story<\/em> co-star Sarah Pidgeon<\/a> also opted for a little edge in a black Tom Ford backless jumpsuit.<\/p>\n The Gothams also proved a rare\u2014and welcome\u2014moment for shorter hemlines on the carpet. Myha\u2019la<\/a> took full advantage of the opportunity in a strapless silver Gucci dress from Tom Ford\u2019s spring 2004 collection, complete with a swirling pattern, sequin embellishments, and keyhole detail. Rebecca Hall<\/a> also went short in an asymmetrical black Sportmax minidress with a sheer draped cape. And while Michelle Pfeiffer<\/a> didn\u2019t choose a minidress, her ankle-length Chanel still gave plenty of room to show off her shoes.<\/p>\n The men clearly enjoyed the looser sartorial brief too. Dallas Liu wore a spirited Bode suit, replete with contrast embroidery and the brand\u2019s signature opera pumps. Owen Thiele and Jamie Bell both went for power clashing\u2014Thiele pairing a belted gray m\u00e9lange Valentino jacket with a striped button-down and patterned tie, while Bell mixed his stripes in a louche Saint Laurent look.<\/p>\n Still, despite the low-key dress code, there was plenty of traditional glamour. Kerry Washington<\/a>\u2019s gold Oscar de la Renta halter neck dress called back to \u201970s glam, while Chase Infiniti<\/a> was every part the ingenue in a bubblegum Louis Vuitton gown\u2014accessorized to boot with a tulle and organza stole.<\/p>\n
