The U.S. Men’s Soccer Team Unveils Its 2026 FIFA World Cup Uniforms

The 2026 FIFA World Cup kicks off in June—and excitement amongst soccer fans is already at a high.

For the first time in its history, the soccer tournament will be jointly hosted by 16 different cities (including 11 here in the U.S., as well as three in Mexico and two in Canada)—marking the first time FIFA has ever been hosted by three nations, with 48 competing teams. To continue the momentum today, the U.S. men’s soccer team has also unveiled its official World Cup uniforms, and Vogue has an exclusive closer look at the jerseys.

Designed in collaboration with Nike, the official soccer team kit features two distinct jerseys that center around a patriotic stars-and-stripes design. Bespoke jacquard stars are featured on the darker kits, while gradient stripes appear on the lighter kits. (There is also a special goalkeeper kit as well.) “This kit symbolizes the unity of our entire system,” said Oguchi Onyewu, assistant sporting director of U.S. Soccer, in a release. “It carries the pride of a nation and the honor of representing the United States on the world’s biggest stage.”

The kit color palette balances hues of red and blue, including navy and deep obsidian. All of the jerseys are made with Nike’s special “Dri Fit ADV” technology, for maximum breathability and performance on the field. Nike worked closely with the U.S. men’s soccer players throughout the design process, making sure to incorporate various practical elements that make the jerseys built for performance. (Players provided feedback on everything from fabric weight to seam placement.) “We wanted something we could coexist with, and that would express who we are as a team,” says Tyler Adams, a midfielder for the U.S. men’s national team.
