Kate Middleton’s Lucky Charm? This Lifting Blush Trick

If you need some new blush inspiration, it’s your lucky day.

Kate Middleton was all smiles as she celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the Irish Guards on Tuesday, and while her coordinating forest-green coat and hat are certainly worthy of attention, we couldn’t help but notice her soft glam.

The Princess of Wales kept her beauty look effortless, with dark brows, a subtle smoky eye, a light pink lip, and a lifted, rosy blush that extended up from the apples of her cheeks to brighten her face.

The secret to recreating that brightening finish? Blending a liquid blush and highlighter.

Blending both—with either a brush or your fingertips—helps eliminate harsh lines during application and provides a seamless, glowy finish. Though this blush technique works well on women of all ages, it’s especially flattering for women with more mature skin.

This marks the latest in a string of public appearances made by the Princess, who recently revealed that she’s taken a step back from drinking alcohol since her cancer diagnosis in 2024 and following her remission announcement last year. “It’s something I have to be a lot more conscious of now,” she said during a visit to a London beer hall last week.

With the Nigerian state visit coming soon, we’re sure to see plenty more looks that’ll spark inspiration from the future queen.
