For this Mané Mané collection of playful, colorful, and sinuous looks, creative director Miguel Becer channeled a desire to escape—a quest for a lighter, more compassionate way of being, one that even flirted with the gentlest side of frivolity. To do so, he stripped weight from traditionally heavy pieces—coats reduced to linings alone—and reconstructed shirts without backs or front sleeves, turning the leftover fabric into unexpected, artful details.

Rather than relying on layering, Becer connected the lower and upper pieces through a central seam, so that the lighter tops lifted and supported the heavier bottoms, creating a graceful interplay of proportions. To achieve the effect, the fabrics were waxed, infused with resins, and finally stretched.

Waists blurred, evoking an effortless silhouette rather than polished sophistication. The Mané Mané woman does not shy away from classic fabrics—Prince of Wales checks or shirt-stripe cottons—yet she is unconcerned with conventional ideas of good taste or demureness.
