Naked dresses? Bella Hadid is all about the naked top at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival—it’s called innovation, people!
Two years ago, during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival, Hadid offered what was then the final word in the naked dressing conversation when she hit the carpet in a diaphanous, leave-nothing-to-the-imagination hosiery dress from Saint Laurent. A year later, in response to the festival’s brand-new no-naked-dressing rule (perhaps inspired by her?), she found a—ahem—cheeky workaround in a barely-there Saint Laurent dress, which she wore to the Opening Ceremony. This year, she’s keeping her rebellious spirit alive.
While the no-nudity edict is allegedly still in place (not that it’s stopping guests from baring it all on the Croisette), Hadid is taking naked dressing off the carpet and into the streets of the French Riviera. But you can forget about the sheer dresses of yore—she’s moved onto a new look.

Today in Cannes, Hadid traded her Riviera-ready capris for something a bit racier: a sheer, tie-front long-sleeve with a frilly, lettuce-hemmed collar from Australian vintage reseller, Preluvd. This is Cannes after all, so a little razzle-dazzle is in order: the body of the top was embellished with silver sequins, while the sleeves and hem were dripping with beaded fringe. The model paired sheer with sheer, wearing a see-through nude bra beneath her top.
Hadid styled the standout blouse with cropped, camel-colored flared trousers, a gold coin-and-pearl necklace, a brown Coach bag, Gucci tortoiseshell sunglasses, and matching Jimmy Choo pumps.
