On the Podcast: Michelle Pfeiffer Is Booked and Busy

Even with a schedule full of appearances and interviews to promote two different hit shows, Michelle Pfeiffer always has time for pizza and champagne nights with the Fanning sisters.

“We all want the white pizza,” says Pfeiffer, before taking a turn for the controversial: “I do like pineapple on white pizza.”

On this Tuesday’s episode of The Run-Through, Pfeiffer joins Margaux Anbouba, Vogue’s senior beauty and wellness editor, to talk about her roles on The Madison on Paramount+ and Margo’s Got Money Troubles on Apple TV, with one half of her favorite pizza party crew: Elle Fanning.

“These are about as different as you could get,” Pfeiffer says of the projects. “The Madison first, which was draining, and Cheyenne from Margo was so energizing and I had so much fun … I loved the family and the family dynamic and the storyline.”

Offscreen, Pfeiffer is no less busy: she’s been working on top-secret formulas for her fragrance company Henry Rose, which she launched in 2019. “The truth is, memory and scent are right next to each other in the brain,” she explains. “And that’s why fragrance is so powerful.”

Also on the podcast, Chloe is joined by Taylor Antrim and Marley Marius to recap two recent cruise shows—Dior in Los Angeles and Gucci in New York—and look ahead at the summer culture slate. They cover the films they are most excited about from Cannes, including James Gray’s Paper Tiger and Jordan Firstman’s Club Kid; chat about hyper-pop phenom Glaive; and discuss the upcoming World Cup—including the France v. Senegal match that both Taylor and Chloe will be attending.
