When it comes to the vast spectrum of couple style, Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake are more students of the Justin and Hailey Bieber School of Mismatched Dressing than they are aligned with Zoë Kravitz and Harry Styles’s cool, coordinated neutrals.
Depp, for her part, favors ballet flats, mini hemlines, and bold tops. Shake, meanwhile, is fond of lug-soles and Canadian tuxedos. But it seems that the two finally found where their disparate styles intersect: baggy jeans.
The couple strolled around Los Angeles yesterday, dressed to their own personal tastes. Depp wore a pair of loose, low-slung indigo jeans with a toothpaste green cardigan underneath an open ecru sweater. She styled the look with cat-eye sunglasses, Isabel Marant moccasins, and a slouchy gray suede hobo bag. Shake, meanwhile, let her belted stone-wash jeans pool over the top of her lug-sole boots. Up top, she layered up in a white tee, marigold zip-up, and a denim jacket.
Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake make a compelling case that “opposites attract” applies just as much to style as it does to personality. Still, in spite of their diverging tastes, both of them know the value of a great pair of baggy jeans.
