Tonight, Beyoncé is serving as one of the 2026 Met Gala co-chairs, so it was only natural that the superstar’s 14-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter also hit the carpet—making it a true high-fashion family affair.

Blue Ivy made her Met Gala debut in a cream gown and matching jacket, sunglasses, and silver, sparkling high heels. Posing solo and with her parents, Blue made the carpet her own. It’s only fitting for someone who’s been a style icon since birth, and who’s joined her mother on stage at the Cowboy Carter tour.

“It feels surreal because my daughter’s here,” Beyoncé told La La Anthony in an interview for Vogue’s livestream, speaking about how proud she is of Blue. “She looks so beautiful. It’s incredible to be able to share it with her.” La La said we all could learn a thing or two from Blue Ivy about red carpet posing, and Beyoncé readily agreed: “She was ready! She is ready.”
For the co-chair, “experiencing this through the eyes of Blue” makes the evening all the more special.
